On Monday, October 13, 2025, two lecturers from the Department of Kurdish Language at the University of Zakho, Asst. Prof. Dr. Salwa Fariq and Lecturer Dler Kamal, participated in the Third Women’s Literature Forum, organized by the General Directorate of Culture and Arts in Duhok.

The forum brought together Kurdish researchers, writers, and intellectuals from all four parts of Kurdistan to discuss new themes and perspectives related to women’s roles and struggles in Kurdish culture and literature.

During the two-day event, more than 15 researchers presented summaries of their studies and research findings.
